El Salvador - Los Naranjos
El Salvador - Los Naranjos
El Salvador is one of the powerhouses of the speciality coffee industry, producing some incredible lots of high-end offerings. Los Naranjos is no exception.
We've selected a shade grown forest lot, allowing native plant and fauna to distribute organic matter amongst the soil, enhancing nitrogen (ammonia) and growth of the seedlings. There is a strict no-herbicide or pesticide policy at Los Naranjos.
The lot we've selected is a typica varietal, one of the oldest varietals known in the arabica genome, partnered up with an anaerobic fermentation process - both of these known for bringing complexity, which allows a super smooth, sweet taste in the cup.
We love this offering for all brewing methods, but especially in the trusty stove-top (moka pot). Notes of Milk Chocolate, Caramel and Panna Cotta.
